Tennants Textile Colours Ltd (TTC) has a long history in the manufacture of pigments. We have been manufacturing pigment for over 70 years and have extensive knowledge and expertise in the art of producing high-quality organic pigments for a variety of industries such as Textile, Paint & Coatings, Paper & Packaging, Ink, plastics, and rubber.
In 2019 we embarked on a joint venture creating Asahi Tennants Colour Pvt in Dajeh, India focusing on the manufacturing of AZO pigments. The new production facility coming on-line in the first quarter 2021.

A Pigment is coloured powder that is completely or nearly insoluble when mixed in a liquid and is used especially to impart colour into the desired material. The Egyptians created what is believed to be the first synthetic pigment between 2,000 and 3,000 BC using calcium copper tetrasilicate to create a turquoise shade known as Egyptian blue.
