Covid-19, Coronavirus

In these unprecedented times when we are being asked by our various governments to stand together by staying apart. I want to write to you to provide an update in relation to TTC.

Firstly, up to this point none of our employees, or any of their friends or families have contracted the virus and for this we are extremely thankful.  Our sites in Belfast and Oldbury are fully operational, operating within the UK government guidelines, and will continue to do so.

We have implemented a range of procedures across the TTC sites to help protect our people and maintain the ongoing operations of the business:

  • We have regular sanitising of hard surfaces, hand washing and social distancing

  • We have reduced the numbers of employees permitted in various parts of our site at any point in time

  • Any employee who has any of the Covid-19 symptoms will have to leave the site immediately and follow the UK government guidelines

  • We have restricted all travel to business critical only for this past few weeks and now all business travel is ceased in the short term.

  • No visitors are permitted on any TTC site, only those required for critical ongoing operations of the company, and any such visitors must follow strict TTC Covid-19 policies.

We have video conference facilities available and encourage regular digital communication with our customers and suppliers.

Currently we are well stocked with raw materials and continue to receive deliveries of raw materials onsite.  Our despatches continue to be on time.  As we move forward we anticipate that there may well be some delays in receipt of materials and also deliveries of finished goods due to the increasing border restrictions.  Please bear with us in the event of any delays, and where possible allow additional time for delivery of your orders.

The coming days and weeks are uncertain, we realise this is a constantly evolving situation and based on both local developments and government guidelines we are reassessing and reacting accordingly on a daily basis as the situation develops.  However at TTC we have a committed and excellent team, we stand strong as a company, and in our experience we can rely on our customers, suppliers and employees to overcome the most difficult of challenges.

Our prayer is for the good health of our employees, customers, and suppliers and for the successful ongoing operations of all our associated businesses, please stay safe everyone and let us know if there is anything TTC can do to help.

Kind Regards

Tim Glenn
