EN71.3 specifies requirements and test methods for the migration of heavy metals and toxic elements such as aluminium, antimony, arsenic, barium, boron, cadmium, Chromium (III), Chromium (VI), cobalt, copper, lead, manganese, mercury, nickel, selenium, strontium, tin, organic tin and zinc. Please reference the limit table (left) in relation to the above dispersions in determining the products suitability in your application to ensure end compliance.
The above products are manufactured as part of our standard production. Raw materials are subject to a careful selection process and manufacturing is monitored by a ‘spot testing’ programme against the quoted target purity levels. Compliance testing against EN71.3 is not routinely carried out for each batch lot and the presence of trace impurities cannot be ruled out. It is the user’s responsibility to conduct their own evaluations to ensure the compliance of the finished product with all prevailing legislation regulating its application.
